13. Biku

Biku Seminyak is a charming and eclectic eatery located in the bustling Seminyak are and has been around for years, most well known for their high-teas and tarot readings. The building itself has just recently re-located up the road. For those that visited the old venue, you'll be amazed how they have been able to re-create the exact same atmosphere and vibe at the new location, buy literally dismantling the building piece by piece and re-building it exactly on its new terrain. Renowned for its unique blend of traditional Indonesian charm and colonial British decor, Biku offers a tranquil ambiance that feels like a step back in time. When it comes to breakfast, Biku does not disappoint. My favourite dish has to be the poached eggs and the reason is that they are served on a homemade buttermilk cheddar and chive scone rather than your standard toast!! The morning menu does also feature a variety of options, ranging from the classic Eggs Benedict to more exotic local dishes like Nasi Goreng. Guests can also indulge in freshly baked pastries, tropical fruits, and healthy smoothie bowls topped with granola and local honey. The tea selection at Biku is particularly extensive, with a variety of aromatic blends that perfectly complement any breakfast choice.
